Classic French Toast

I’m huge fan of breakfast and brunch, to me there’s nothing better than a good Sunday brunch with Classic French Toast! I love recipes like this that are simple but delicious and only use a few ingredients that I always have in my kitchen.

 

Classic French Toast is a fabulous way to turn day old bread into an amazing Sunday brunch. Now all you need is some bacon and a few sausage links and you have a recipe for a perfect Sunday morning!

Ingredients

  • Eggs
  • Whole milk
  • All purpose flour
  • Granulate sugar
  • Salt
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Day old bread

How to make Classic French Toast

Lightly grease a griddle with butter over medium heat.

Add all of the ingredients, except the bread to a medium size bowl and mix thoroughly.

Dip each slice of bread into the mixture and place on skillet. Cook on each side until golden brown.

Lightly sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm with butter and maple syrup.
